How long does it take to get a life insurance quote online? Im thinking if I should rather get a quote personally to an insurance agent here in Alabama than wait for the quote online.

Getting a life insurance quote online, plus a life insurance policy to take effect, might not take as long as you would imagine.

There are some conditions of course that may put a wrench in the smooth flow of the application process for life insurance. For instance, if you have just been seen by a doctor or other medical professional for a major health condition, it may take longer for the Alabama life insurance provider to figure out whether or not they are going to provide you a policy, and if so, what kind of underwriting is going to be involved.

If this is the case, the Alabama life insurance provider will usually call your doctor and request for medical information be sent to them – if your doctor sends it promptly, your life insurance policy may not be held up for much longer than average.
