Reader’s Question

I am just baffled at why people would want to pay more to get a no medical life insurance in Alabama when all that is required of the regular one is a medical certificate. I do not think it makes sense paying more for the same thing. Am I missing something here?

Hi, Catherine! This is an interesting question and I can smell some debate over this topic soon. Thanks for voicing this out, as it may truly enlighten our other readers, as well.

As we live in different kinds of environment and we each have different lifestyles, we have different needs in terms of life insurance, as well. Yes, there is a different need for every one of us. It depends on our gender, age, health history, job and many other factors. Thus, some may need to have a life insurance that does not require any medical checkup for a number of reasons, too.

One may need to have a no medical life insurance in Alabama as early as possible that he will sign up for it even if it means a higher premium. This is true for a person who has sought employment abroad and who needs to go there as soon as possible and at the same time leave his family behind protected from the worries and risks his new job may entail. With this, he will seek the best life insurance policy he can get in his country. It will be harder for him to transact business or even process the required steps in claiming cash benefits if he gets it from another country – especially one with a different language or culture. But with the limited time he has, he may not be able to get the policy he likes because it requires a medical examination, and he doesn’t have the time to go thru with it.

Another reason for some is just to prepare an elderly person when his time comes. The cash benefits may be used for funeral services and other debts or needs as well. It may be harder for some older applicants to get approved especially if a medical examination is required.

If you plan to get life insurance in Alabama, get a quote first. It is better to shop around for life insurance before purchasing one.
